Toothbrush Packaging Design

🌿 Project Overview

This project was for a natural horse hair toothbrush brand that wanted eco-conscious, earthy packaging with a handcrafted feel. The client’s vision centered around themes of sustainability, simplicity, and nature.

As a packaging designer with over a decade of experience, I’ve worked on many commercial projects across industries—but due to confidentiality agreements, I can only showcase a select few. This is one such example I’m proud to share.

✏️ Step 1: Concept Sketch

Every great design starts with a pencil. For this toothbrush box, I sketched a minimal yet expressive layout featuring a hand-drawn horse, a tree, and elements of farm life to reflect the product’s natural origin. The composition was intentionally simple, highlighting the organic feel.

🎨 Step 2: Vector Design

Once the sketch was approved, I recreated it digitally using Adobe Illustrator. I preserved the charm of the hand-drawn lines while refining the layout for print. The final design balanced clean typography, subtle colors, and natural motifs, creating a box that feels premium yet down-to-earth.

🖨️ Step 3: Final Print

After finalizing the vector file, I handed off the print-ready package to the client. A few weeks later, they sent me a photo of the finished box, now stocked and ready for sale. Seeing the real-world result is always the most satisfying part of the process.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve designed packaging for brands in healthcare, personal care, food, fashion, and lifestyle. However, many of these designs are covered by NDAs or client privacy requests, which is why I don’t publicly display most of them.
